Want to Audition for Sounds of South?
Auditions for Sounds of South are held each year in early March (usually the week before Spring Break) for the following school year. If you are interested in auditioning, please contact Ms. Witten-Upchurch at BHSS or your choir teacher if you attend Jackson Creek Middle School, Batchelor Middle Schools, or St. Charles Borromeo School.
Your audition will consist of three parts. You will:

- Sing a prepared solo (be sure to have a copy of your music for our accompanist)
- Complete a rhythmic exercise on 'Ta' (30-second preview)
- Sight-sing on scale degrees (30-second preview)
